(94 years, 9 months)
Daniel Ambrose was born to A. Ambrose and Margaret Ambrose on 11 December 1930. Raised in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, he was the fifth of seven children. In 1957, he moved to Bhilai to begin his career at the Bhilai Steel Plant. He married ArickMary Ambrose on 14 October 1964. On 4 June 1990, he relocated to HUDCO, Bhilai, where he happily spent the remainder of his life surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Daniel completed his earthly journey on 5 October 2025. The last surviving sibling of his family, he is survived by his three children—Anthony, Jude, and Vandana—and their families. He will always be remembered for his simplicity, humility, and deeply loving nature.
I'll always cherish the memory where he taught me to say the grace before meals. And he wouldn't eat unless I come and say the grace. Even today when he's no more with me, I remember him always when I say the grace before the meals.
He loved playing the harmonium and singing. His favorite songs were - Dheere se jana bagiyan mein (bollywood) & Pyare Yesu kahan hai tu (devotional).
We - ArickMary Ambrose, along with our children Anthony, Jude, and Vandana, and all our grandchildren—extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited the memorial of our dearly beloved father, Daniel Ambrose. We humbly request that you continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
