HANUMAN PRASAD VERMA

Born in Damoh District, Madhya Pradesh, he was the only son of Mr. Babu Lal Verma. He pursued a B.A. (Hons.) from Sagar University, later embracing journalism and academia as a beloved English professor and dean of student welfare at Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya. His remarkable command of both English and Hindi made him a respected figure in literature and politics, and he served as chief editor of the Narabada Herald, Jabalpur's first English daily. Married to Sudha Verma, he raised three sons and one daughter, earning affection as "Guruji" among students and politicians, who sought his wisdom and guidance.
