Heavenly Tribute Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates an online digital memorial and obituary platform at https://heavenlytribute.in. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds are granted for payments made on our platform, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian laws.

By making a payment on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Nature of Our Service

Our platform provides digital services, including the creation and permanent hosting of digital memorial pages. Once a memorial page is published and made accessible to the public, the core digital service has been delivered and consumed.

We offer two plans:

  • Free Plan — No payment required. No refund applicable.
  • Premium Plan (₹3,499) — A one-time payment for permanent premium memorial hosting with advanced features.

3. Eligibility for Refund

Refund Eligible

  • Payment was made but the memorial page was never published — refund request raised within 7 days of payment.
  • Duplicate payment was charged due to a technical error on our platform or payment gateway.
  • Payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed due to a system failure (payment gateway error, server downtime).

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Memorial page has been published and made publicly accessible — the digital service has been fully delivered.
  • Refund request raised after 7 days of payment date.
  • User changed their mind after publication.
  • User is dissatisfied with the AI-generated biography or memorial song content (these are AI-generated outputs and inherently variable).
  • Account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Free plan — no payment was made.

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please contact us within 7 days of your payment date:

Please include the following in your request:

  • Registered email address or mobile number
  • Payment reference number or Razorpay Order ID
  • Date of payment
  • Reason for refund request

5. Refund Processing

Once your refund request is received and verified:

  • We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
  • Refund decision will be communicated within 5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to bank/payment gateway processing times.
  • Refunds will be for the exact amount paid. Any applicable taxes already remitted to the government are non-refundable.

6. Technical Payment Failures

If your payment was deducted but the memorial page or order was not created or confirmed, please contact us immediately at support@heavenlytribute.in with your payment details. In such cases, we will verify with our payment gateway (Razorpay) and process a full refund within 5–7 business days.

In many cases, the payment gateway will automatically reverse such transactions within 5–7 business days without requiring any action from you.
